At Amp we believe in fostering a vibrant artist community and supporting both local and international talents. In 2023, we showcased an artwork by artist, choreographer, and dancer Josh Johnson.
Josh Johnson immersed himself in the world of dance, refining his skills in Los Angeles and New York. His journey led him to become a part of the Theater Ensemble Zurich in 2019, following collaborations with esteemed entities like Forsythe Company and notable artists such as Anne Imhof, Kandis Williams and Patrick Belaga. Beyond the realm of dance, Josh has left his artistic imprint in collaborations with renowned fashion brands like Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton and Burberry.
As a versatile artist, Josh Johnson is also a member of Moved by the Motion, alongside artists Wu Tsang, Tosh Basco, Asma Maroof, Fred Moten and others. His multidimensional artistic contributions continue to captivate audiences across various creative spheres.
